5100-8 Tonnage and Analog Signal Monitor Module
Consistent Setups and Press Protection
The 5100-8 Tonnage and Analog Signal Monitor Module is used with the 5100-APC, the 5100-AMC, or the 5100-AMC-Servo. It measures and displays the forces being applied to the frame of a press during the working portion of the stroke. These forces are compared with allowable limits based on the capacity of the machine and correct operation of the die and material being used.

The Tonnage and Analog Signal Monitor Module Delivers:
Long-Term ROI
Extend the life of your press, reduce downtime, and improve part quality by running your press within capacity.
Consistency
Ensure correct press shut-height adjustment during job setup.
Ease of Use
Provides easy and precise job setup via touch-screen interface, flexible bypass modes, and auto setup.
Process Visibility
Allows easy diagnosis of tool wear and die problems with signature display and reference graph overlay.
Features
-
Four strain Link connections for use on two or four channel machines
-
Displays forward and reverse tonnage for each channel, plus the total
-
Enables user to enter total capacity derating curve for distance off bottom
-
Provides high, low, and reverse peak limits to be set for each channel
-
Each channel can employ up to four additional “data window” limits for monitoring complex tonnage waveforms
-
Reference graph can be stored with each job for easy comparison
-
Tonnage signature captured and displayed in real-time
-
Signature view allows zoom, pan, and readout of angle and tonnage
-
Integrates with gagging and part tracking
-
Tonnage limits adapt for specific strokes of a gagging sequence
-
When used with the 5100-AMC-SERVO, supports complex servo motions
-
Low limits can be automatically bypassed when in setup mode
-
Allows energy used per stroke by the tooling to be displayed
-
Optional four channels of flexible analog inputs for analog process monitoring
