Graphical Tonnage Analyzer Software

Link Systems' GTA Software is designed to let you get the most from your System 1100 Tonnage Monitor.  This software is designed to run on your IBM compatible computer, with MS-DOS 3.0 or later.  The GTA allows you to view the actual tonnage waveform, or "signature" as opposed to just the peak tonnages through the stroke.  This can be helpful in diagnosing die problems, by observing the change in tonnage waveforms.

Die makers can also benefit from the GTA by using it to observe and verify the order of operation of a die when testing is in progress.   The effects of changes made to existing dies can also be evaluated much easier than before.  

Finally, a tonnage "signature"  of a die can be taken with GTA and stored for archival purposes.  As the die wears, certain operations will take more and more tonnage.  A comparison of the original and current tonnage graphs can point out areas of excessive wear, allowing timely servicing of the die.
